Quick Snitz Pie


Combine applesauce, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, and sugar. Heat. Add water and clear jel. Cook, stirring constantly, for 15 minutes; cool. Make half moon pies or regular snitz pies. 8 c. applesauce
1½ t. cinnamon
1 t. cloves
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/2 t. allspice
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3/8 c. clear jel
