there has been many movies and tv shows that have been made about, or have had the Amish injected into the storylines. and other than the movie witness, which alot of the amish had a problem with because of the relationship that harrison ford has with the Amish widow played by kelly mcgillis among other reasons, i feel out of all the movies and tv series produced about the Amish, this one was aleast the best writen and acted. so its one of my guilty pleasures, and in my opinion there has not been anything that comes close to it, before or after it was made in 1985. id like to know what your opinion is, what is the most realistic and best made film that portrayed the Amish?.
